More butterflies before the birding starts again

Managed to tick a few more butterflies off the list.

A trip to Glapthorn Cow Pastures on 21st June saw good views of Black Hairstreak.

We popped into Ufton Fields in Warwickshire on the way back, seeing a Marbled White but only getting a token record shot before it disappeared. Plenty of other things to see there though.

Final stop of the day was for the long staying Melodious Warbler near to Marsh Lane NR.

An after work trip to Whixall Moss saw another addition, with Large Heath. At first they were flying all over the place with no chance of any photos, but eventually one gave itself up and posed for me.

I then popped to Prees Heath where the Silver-studded Blue were everywhere, many just emerging.

On 27th June we popped back to Gloucestershire and to Daneway Bank for the Large Blues. There were also loads of Marbled Whites at which ever site we went to.
